Our preferred material for deck building is composite decking. We have extensive experience working with both Trex and Timbertech and have built many beautiful and long-lasting outdoor spaces utilizing the many different products from each of these companies. Trex and Timbertech each have extensive manufacturer warranties to back their products and ensure many years of enjoyment and peace of mind.

Trex Composite Decking

Trex-High performance composite deck boards are engineered to resist fading, scratches and stains. Using Trex or other quality composite material eliminates time-consuming maintenance so sanding and staining every season is a tedious project of the past.

Trex comes in a variety of gorgeous colors and styles-no painting & staining required to achieve a perfect result. Just a little soap and water or a quick power washing is all the maintenance Trex requires.

Trex also offers their RainEscape system which uses a network of troughs and gutters to divert water from the area below the deck from rain, snow, sun, and other elements and provides 100% protection of the deck substructure from moisture.

Timbertech Composite Decking

Timbertech-long-lasting, low-maintenance polymer and composite decking. Timbertech also has a railing system which is easily customizable to your specifications. Beautiful lighting styles as well as hidden fasteners and other accessories allows you to create your outdoor living space that is truly reflective of your personality.

Timbertech also has the Dryspace system which is designed for second-story decks; this system collects and channels moisture away from the home.

Wood Decking

For those who prefer the look and feel of real wood, Redwood is the way to go.
It is naturally resistant to wood-boring insects and weathering without the use of preservative chemicals. Redwood can last up to about 30 years on a well-maintained deck under good circumstances and is the most fire-resistant decking material on the market.

Historically, Redwood has been the most popular deck material because of these properties. However, because of a limited supply and environmental concerns, it is now less available and can sometimes be more expensive than composite decking material. One must also weigh the cost and time needed to properly care for their wood decks. There is the need for seasonal painting, staining, and/or sealing, and depending on the grade of wood chosen, fading, staining, splits and splinters can be an issue.

Fortress Handrails

Many of our clients have chosen the Fortress handrail system for their decks. Quick installation, flexible designs, cable (horizontal or vertical), steel, aluminum, baluster, glass, brackets and adapters allow for installation at virtually any angle. May be used with wood, composite, vinyl or Fortress® railing metal posts.
